Biggest Loser Week Three

   Week three has come and gone and so has quite a few pounds from our contestants.  Week three is notorious for being a hard week to see results, as our bodies start to adapt to our new exercise regimens and calorie intake.  It is a mental battle from this point on.  We must find a way to push past our mental barriers to convert our new exercise program into a lifestyle change.  Weight loss is fun and exciting, but it also can be discouraging.  It is important to reward ourselves for small victories that don't always rely on pounds lost that week.  Getting a faster time on your mile, adding 5lbs to your squat, or completing five more push-ups than you did the week before.  All of these are signs of progress and they should be equally recognized and rewarded as your weight loss.  Stay focused on your end goal and remember to adapt your calorie intake to your lower weight, as we get smaller we need less calories than we did the first week!
This weeks winner was once again MARTIN VANROSENDALL!  Martin lost another 9lbs  and won a three month membership to The Fit Stop.  Great job Martin!

Spring must be here, the snow is melting away and so is the weight!

After an amazing first week we weren't quite sure what kind of numbers to expect for week two.  The Biggest Loser contestants rose to occasion again, delivering another set of high numbers!  Martin VanRoosendaal grabbed the title of week two's Biggest Loser with losing a staggering 15lbs (-3.65%).  Martin has lost a total of 26lbs in just 14 days. Other honorable mentions for week two are:

First Week Results!

Week one brought some crushing numbers and this contest is going to be intense to follow!  With numbers as high as 13lbs of weight loss for one week we can't wait to see the results at the end of 10 weeks.  Our contestants and trainers are bringing out all the stops.  The contestants will see big numbers some weeks and smaller numbers other weeks.  One factor that has to stay the same to see overall progress is their consistency of hard work in the gym and healthy eating habits at home.  Great job to all of the Biggest Losers and their Trainers for an outstanding first week!
