Biggest Loser Week Three

   Week three has come and gone and so has quite a few pounds from our contestants.  Week three is notorious for being a hard week to see results, as our bodies start to adapt to our new exercise regimens and calorie intake.  It is a mental battle from this point on.  We must find a way to push past our mental barriers to convert our new exercise program into a lifestyle change.  Weight loss is fun and exciting, but it also can be discouraging.  It is important to reward ourselves for small victories that don't always rely on pounds lost that week.  Getting a faster time on your mile, adding 5lbs to your squat, or completing five more push-ups than you did the week before.  All of these are signs of progress and they should be equally recognized and rewarded as your weight loss.  Stay focused on your end goal and remember to adapt your calorie intake to your lower weight, as we get smaller we need less calories than we did the first week!
This weeks winner was once again MARTIN VANROSENDALL!  Martin lost another 9lbs  and won a three month membership to The Fit Stop.  Great job Martin!
